Suicidal thoughts occur frequently in people. These thoughts are difficult to handle by both the persons who experiences it as well as the carer of the person. This video will take you through various facets of the problem in 4 modules. You will have to go through each module sequentially in order to understand the process of handling the distressing suicidal ideations. This video is for carers of people suffering from suicidal ideations.

In this module you will learn about the common reactions of carers to people expressing suicidal ideations. You will also learn about the appropriate attitudes when learning about the person thoughts. You will also learn to look for behaviours which can predict risks and distress in the patient. - Module 4: What can carers do?

In this module you will learn about what to do when confronted by a person who has suicidal ideations. You will be taken through a systematic process to help you negotiate the difficult situation.
